summatime.

I have had the hottest summer of my life.
I also didn't write anything on this blog for that entire time and I attribute this to the fact that I was too busy sweating.

My beautiful friend Nicole started a new Korea blog and it reminded me that I had made a blog-vow: to post a photograph a day.

So as this computer is my witness, I renew this vow...although my family and Noah's family will be here for the next few weeks...

You lookin' at ME?

I came across this hairy, eyeless beauty on a happy Sunday afternoon spent in Busan.
Wandering through the streets, Noah and I found this small restaurant that had cold beer and better - this little fella! He was affectionate and obviously photogenic!
Love, love.

Ghost Riders in the Sky.

This was tonight's sky.

I took some photographs from the balcony of our apartment when Noah and I returned home from work. I try to keep my eyes open here. So that I don't even miss out on a grumpy (and lovely) evening sky.

Love, love.

age of incessant snapshots. and snot shots.

If you know me, you know two things for certain. I love photographs and I can talk forever.
So, here is my blog. To indulge myself with a new project, to entertain my friends and family with my daily fumblings in a foreign place, and to chronicle in images my experience in Korea.
I hope to post a photograph everyday.

And so, this is where I begin! Here are the children that I see and love everyday. They are the ones who cry on me, spit on me, laugh on me, sneeze on me, kiss on me, hug on me, and learn from me. And, it goes without saying that I learn from them - mainly, patience! And that I need to wash my hands far more often.
Their emotions are ready to burst and as I have my camera with me so often, I am able to capture them happy, funny, saucy, tired, confused, and forever crying. They are my constant companions here and somedays I think that I prefer them to most adults!

Love, love.
